The Man of Sorrows is an appellation of Jesus Christ as the Suffering Savior.

4) Surely He hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5) But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our Peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed.

Isaiah 53 1 talks about Jesus being a man of sorrows?
He was despised and rejected by men, a Man of Sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces, He was despised, and we esteemed Him not. Surely He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered Him stricken by God, smitten by Him, and afflicted.
